I'll be writing about the process of launching Citizen Workshops, and all of the adventures along the way. Today's words of wisdom come from this book, which has excellent advice (even though by looking at the cover, I thought it was going to be some frou-frou girly manual. What is it they say about judging books by their covers?) Regarding taking the leap into starting your business, the authors say:
"You're going to have to learn to be comfortable being uncomfortable and adopt what Dr. Rob Gilbert calls the "ready, FIRE, aim" approach - and go for it, even though you don't feel totally prepared and in control. In short, you're going to have to dive in, make mistakes, adjust your strategy, and keep driving forward."
