My mom constantly says "I'm not creative" and it bothers me every time. Creativity does not mean you have to paint or do arts and crafts. Creativity can be seen in how you handle a tough situation or even how you handle a difficult family member. I think if in school kids were given multiple options for projects "write a paper, do a performance, make a model, etc." then kids would be able to show off their specific type of creativity.

So true! Creativity weaves itself into all aspect of our lives. And it makes life more fun! When I get really frustrated, I try to pause and think "this is a chance to be creative and think about a different solution." Almost immediately, it turns the problem into more of a puzzle/creative opportunity.
