The two belly laughs of the morning:
I would love to see The Piano Guys messing around with these techniques for the first time. I picture them procrastinating and wondering, "Hey - what would it sound like if I did this with the piano strings? What about this?" I also picture lots of laughing. I hope I'm right. (PS - this One Direction song is definitely another Guilty Pleasure Rock Out.) A few Fridays ago I posted a "Listen with your Eyes Closed" video, then the next week was "Listen with your Eyes Open," and today is listen how ever you damn well please! Just listen! I'm a few years behind on seeing this Tony Awards performance, but the recording came up when I was searching for another YouTube video. Stephen Colbert AND "I Believe" from Book of Mormon? Heaven! Take a few minutes out of your Friday - I definitely found myself with a huge ear-to-ear smile for the entire 5 minutes and 23 seconds. These two are comedic geniuses, and they seem to be such genuinely good people and great friends (i.e., Hi Key and Peele! Wanna hang out?) Every time I watch their show, I envy their collaborative chemistry. It doesn't get better than these two playing off of each other. It's so hard for me to choose my favorite sketch of theirs, so I'll just choose my most recent favorite. Shout out to the team of writers on the show, too - they deserve their fair share of credit! Enjoy! |
